I can't read, write, speak or understand Norwegian.

But I am pretty handy with a computer.

I scanned all of the original 677 Hans Jervell stories into one Norwegian Word file. I had a fairly large table containing the Norwegian word in one column and the English word in the other column. I wrote a program to loop through the document and substitute the English Word for the Norwegian word from the table.

I kept adding to the table until I had translated all the words in the document. I then adjusted the English grammar.

This method has its faults, so I'll gladly post an amended translation if anyone can give me a better one.
