S. Almklov

Cooperstown, North Dakota

is a pharmacist. He was born in Vanelven on January 17, 1850 and emigrated to America in 1875 to Minneapolis, Minnesota. He was educated at Augsburg Seminar. In Norway he was educated at the Volden High School and Tromso Seminar. He came to Cooperstown in 1888. He purchased the pharmacy and has since then had the furniture store and funeral parlor. He is the fabricator of "Specifics" for all sorts of head aches. His fabrication, which is very well recommended, is now sent all over America, Canada, Alaska and to Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Finland. Almklov covers that part of his business with special large Interest.

His wife, Hansine Wadel, is from Tromso. They have five children. Leif is a doctor in Cooperstown, North Dakota has an office in same Building as the Pharmacy and has a large practice. Wadel is an attorney in Cooperstown, North Dakota. Sigurd has a farm near Cooperstown, North Dakota. Ruth is married to A. J. Hoel, an Accountant at the First National Bank. Agnes graduated as a nurse and works in Grand Forks, North Dakota.
