Buxton, North Dakota
is a farmer. He was born in northern Aurdal at Gaarden Kammerud on June 10, 1853. He emigrated to America in 1870 to Ocean, Iowa and lived there until 1879 and then he went to Traill County where he has been a farmer since. He has now lived in Buxton for seven years.
He has worked as married two times. His first wife, Sigrid Tildheim, was from the same town in Norway. His second wife, Ida O. Cammerud, was also from that same town. They are both dead. He has four sons.
