P. S. Caspary

Moorhead, Minnesota.

was born in Gaarden Snipsor in Ulfsten, near Aalesund on December 16, 1862 and emigrated to America in 1903 to Warren, Minnesota. He moved to Moorhead, Minnesota established a fur business there in 1909 and has lived there since.

His wife’s name is Ingerta Caspary and she was born in Kristiania. The Caspary family is very musical. Their daughter Bergliot has a beautiful soprano voice, plays superior piano, is a very capable reciter and translator from Norwegian to English of both poetry and prose. She is only 18 years and will certainly have a great future for herself.

Both Caspary and his wife have worked much for Norwegians over here. Caspary is very interested in Sondmorslaget and is with the "Norse" Singing choir. Mrs. Caspary has worked hard for the Daughters of Norway, especially in Fargo, North Dakota as a president of "Northstar" and has also worked a lot for "Lyngblomsten.
