Clifford, North Dakota
is a farmer and businessman. He was born near Kristlania on June 23, 1859 and emigrated to America in 1865 to Goodhue and lived there for nine years. He lived in Olmstead, Minnesota for four years and then came to Blanchard, North Dakota in 1881. He was a businessman in the machinery business in Clifford, North Dakota for twelve years. He is half Halling and half German, and that is a combination that will generate a good ethnic group, says people on the outside.
