Martin Johnson Eide

Buxton, North Dakota

is a farmer. He was born in Bjornor on April 25, 1868 and emigrated to America in 1889 to Fosston, Minnesota. He took a homestead and lived there a couple of years. From there he drove a team of oxen to Hillboro, North Dakota and has been a farmer in Wold Township since 1890.

His wife, Maren Andersen, is from Laurdal, near Larvik. She came to America in 1891 and they were married in 1893. They have eight children. They have a large, fine school house on the farm.

You will find him as capable a farmer as you can wish for, when you man pays a visit in his pleasant and fine home.
