Finley, North Dakota
is a carpenter and building contractor. He was born in Loiten 1864 and emigrated to America, in 1892 to Ironwood, Michigan and has lived in Finley, North Dakota since 1903.
His wife, Thrine Strand, is from Sondfjord. They have three sons. He has among other things worked on and built Abercrombie's beautiful Church and one of the most beautiful farmhouses in this area, namely Lodals house. Besides that, he has worked on and built many other fine Norwegian homes in the Northwest region.
