Rev. T. J. Gronningen

Buxton, North Dakota

was born near Haugesund, in Torvestad, Karmoen on May 10, 1861. He emigrated to America in 1889 to Eagle Grove, Iowa. He was ordained as a Priest in 1896 at the United Church annual meeting. His first Calling was in Brown, South Dakota. He was in Seattle, Washington for five years and then was in Buxton for four years. In 1905 he had one parish in town and three in the country.

His wife, Anna Borseth, was born in America of Norwegian parents. Their names were Peder and Berit Borseth and they were from Stordalen.
