K. M. Hagen

Fargo, North Dakota

was born in Elverum on May 1, 1861 and emigrated to America in 1887. He came to Fargo in 1888 and has operated a shoemaker business on Front Street since 1889. Three years ago he was on a trip to Norway.

His wife, Anna Knutson, is from Vaage in Gudbrandsdalen. They have six children. His daughter, Bertha Hagen, is a very capable pianist and will go a great future. Her musical education was interrupted by the war in Europe. She was in Berlin for her education in music when the war broke out. She is already regarded now as one of the most capable pianists in Fargo, North Dakota.

She is Teacher in Pianospil at the Dakota Conservatory of Music, Fargo, North Dakota.
