Ingvald Kampen

is from Biri. He has been the School superintendent in Griggs County now for ten years. He was born in Gaarden Kalverad, on January 3, 1869 and emigrated to America in 1884 to Pitcheon Falls, Wisconsin. He lived there for seven years as a farmer with his father Johannes Andersen who is now is 80 years old and lives with his oldest son, Andrew Anderson, who is a farmer near Sutton, North Dakota.

He is the Secretary of the Sons of Norway regional society "Ueland". He went to Luther College for six years and graduated from Minnesota University. He is a capable public interested man and a good Norwegian.
