Mayville, North Dakota
was born in Ørskog on July 23, 1882 and emigrated to America in 1901 to Georgetown, Minnesota. He lived there until 1912, then he came to Mayville, North Dakota and is now the manager of the large Ely farm five miles north of Mayville.
His wife, Anne Strand, is also a person from Sondmoring from Ørskog. They have two sons, Wilhelm and Erling. His father, Severin Lande, and his mother, Elen Lande, live at Gaarden Lande in Orskog.
