Stanley, North Dakota
was born in Ringerike near Honefos and emigrated about 30 years ago. His first Opholdssted was in Orfordville, Wisconsin. He moved later to Milton, North Dakota. After that he moved to the neighborhood of Stanley in 1906, where he lives on his homestead at this time.
Lunstad is now married for the third time. His first wife was from Nordland and died in Wisconsin. His second wife was from Hedemarken. She died in Milton, North Dakota. His third wife, Kathrine Ode, was born in Ontario, Canada of Irish Parents.
His children in first marriage: Karoline married John Johnson of Edinburg, North Dakota. Alfred Lunstad is a farmer in Lagdon, North Dakota. Anni is married to W. Pettersen of Rugby. Mads Lunstad is a farmer in Canada.
