Nils Malvey

was born at Gaarden Mjelva at Fanestranden on April 30, 1867 and emigrated to America in 1881 to St. Paul. From there he went to Fargo where he lived for 45 years and has since lived inMoorhead. He is a carpenter and contractor. He has built many fine home in Moorhead. His largest building projects were the new auditorium in Moorhead at Concordia College, and Trinity's new Church. It is the largest and most beautiful Norwegian Church in the Northwest.

His wife, Ingeborg Johnson, is from Kongsvinger. They have nine children, two of his sons, Hjalmar and Eilert, works in their father's business. He is the owner of four houses in Moorhead, and has built himself a good home there. He was eager and busy at the site of his apple tree and his garden when he gave me this information. Such a capable and beloved Romsdoling man shall lead for a long time in America.
