Fargo, North Dakota
was born in Aker on August 25, 1862. He came to Fargo in 1884 and was a police official there for 16 years. He took over the "Great Northern Hotel" in 1908.
His first wife was from Hallingdal and his second wife is of Swedish Ancestry.
