Fargo, North Dakota
is from Hedemarking. He was born in Hamar on July 6, 1860. He emigrated to America in 1867 to Chicago and to Fargo in 1877 along with his father Kristian Olsen and his mother Emilie Olsen.
He has operated the furniture shop for 30 years, first with his father and by himself for the last 28 years. He has one of the largest and nicest business location in Fargo.
His wife, Anna Flaten, is from Valdres. She is the sister of the Photographer Flaten in Moorhead, Minnesota.
