Pekin, North Dakota
is a farmer. He was born in Solor on January 20, 1855. He grew up in Trondelagen and married a Nordlands girl, so the woman he is with and himself are with many regional societies. They emigrated to America in 1859. He took a homestead in Nelson County, North Dakota and still has the farm at this time, but he lives in Pekin, North Dakota.
His wife, Maren Dahl, is from Svolvaer. The were both on a trip to Norway in 1914.
