Elias Rosevold

Portland, North Dakota

is a farmer. He was born in Waxvik region Sondmore, on January 12, 1871 and emigrated to America to Mayville, North Dakota in 1888. He received an entire heap form others in the Waxvik region and a ticket from Johan Viseth who has done more than most others to get Sondmoringers to Mayville-Portlands region, where they now have many fine large farms and are a "Framifraa" fellows. Elias Rosevold has 1000 acres of fine fine land absolutely debtfree and a fine home besides. Besides being a farmer, he is the director and president of the State Bank in Greene, North Dakota and has interests in various other things. He has also traveled a lot. In 1913 he was on a trip to Norway and really injouyed himself. He has also been on a trip to Mexico and to Seattle for the Verdens Exhibition in 1909. He has rented out his farm for the last three years and he is now beginning to drive himself.
