Dr. Nils Tronnes

Fargo, North Dakota

was born in Kristiania on October 14, 1876. He was a student since 1894 and a medical candidate since 1903. He has worked as an assistant doctor at the Kyst hospital in Fredriksvaern for all sorts of surgical tuberculosis afflictions and bone ailments. After that he practiced for a while in Aalesund. He moved to America and came to Fargo, North Dakota in 1904 where he later practiced in partnership with Dr. Sand and won earned himself a reputable name as one of the Northwest’s most capable doctors and surgeons. They have a very much large practice.

His wife, Randi Larsen, is a person from Tronnes and is from Skien. She is the daughter of mill owner Larsen. They were married in New York in 1905 by Pastor Tjornhom, now in Hatton, North Dakota. They have two children, Hans and Margrethe. Their cozy and hospitable home is a slice of Norway
