PETER J. MATHESON (1853-1886), born in Christiania, Norway. In 1878 he was at Valley City, to Romness Twp 1880. He was employed by Government surveyors; married Christine Peters of Rushford, Minnesota Son Elmer C. was born in Romness Township in 1881. Mrs. Matheson married 2nd in 1887 Peter P. Idsvoog (1860-1933) Children: Arthur and Oscar Idsvoog.
