We are applying to host a collections assessment workshop from DCCI. Details of the grant can be found on the State Historical Society of North Dakota website.
If we are selected a panel of professional conservators will provide on-stie staff training on conservation and preservation procedures.
One of the requirement is that participation in this program requires a five-day commitment from at least two paid/unpaid staff members – two days with the conservator for the institutional assessment and three days for public workshops. I think we will be able to have more than the minimum number of volunteers for this. Below are the possible dates. We'll post selected dates if our application is approved.
