Herman Storkson was born in Norway September 27, 1888 and came to the United States in 1904. He first settled at Aneta. He married Mathilda Olson, daughter of Hendrick Tufte (also known as Hendrick Olson) in 1917. They had two children, Harry Storkson and Bernice Storkson. Bernice married Jarl Hegvik. Harry is single and lives at Binford.

Herman Storkson died March 5, 1967 at the age of 78.
