Aneta, North Dakota
is from Sigdal. He was born on June 23, 1866 and came to America in 1887 to Hatton, North Dakota. He purchased a farm in 1899 in Loreta Township, Grand Forks County and has lived there since as a farmer.
His wife, Marine Tandberg, was born in America of Norwegian parents. Her father was from Modum and her mother from Sigdal. They have ten children. All of them grew up on the farm. A grown son is home on the farm, which is a model farm.
