Mayville, North Dakota
has a farm near Mayville, but lives in town. Her husband O. T. Andrews died in 1912. His Norwegian name was Ole Trulsen Boftolfspladsen. He came from Numedal to Northfield, Minnesota in 1870. He moved from there to Worth County, Iowa. He came to North Dakota 1878 and took preemption and lived there most of the time until his death at 66 years of age.
Mrs. O. T. Andrews, whose maiden name was Margit Paulsen, was born in Worth County, Iowa, and came to North Dakota with his parents, who were from Gol in Hallingdal, to Mayville. They were married in 1879. They have eleven children. Two sons are farmers near Mayville, where she has lived since her husband’s death and has a good home.
