Mayville, North Dakota
is from Saetesdol. He was born in Hyllestad on August 24, 1890 and emigrated to America the first time in 1912 to Chicago. He went back to Norway in 1913, ancame over again in 1914. He worked in Brooklyn, New York and Chicago and came to Mayville last fall. He was educated at the Mission School at Framnaes in Hardanger.
His wife, Ragnhild Egeland, is from Vennesland. They have one daughter Thordis Ingrid. Berg is Brotherhood Associate Priest in Mayville and for the Lutheran Free Parish in Portland, North Dakota.
