Mayville, North Dakota
was born in Ørskog on April 22, 1882. His parents, Peter and Karen Egge, lived there at Gaarden Egge and emigrated to America in 1900 to Mayville, North Dakota where he has lived since 1902.
His wife, Tella Nielsen, is from Hadeland. They have six children, three sons and three daughters.
Peter Egge’s new restaurant is a verybeautiful. It is a good place to come and get refreshments. The furnishings are elegant and it is a tribute to him and an embellishment for Mayville.
