Hatton, North Dakota
was born in Chilsburgh, Wisconsin on March 27, 1863 of Norwegian parents from Telemarken. He came to Hatton, North Dakota in 1885 and has the general store.
His wife, Olava Baalsen, died several years ago. Her parents were from Gol in Hallingdal. They have eight children, four sons and four daughters. One son, Edwin Eielsen, is the treasurer in the Farmers & Merchants National Bank. O. Eielsen is the bank president. He has a beautiful house in Hatton, North Dakota. It was built in 1900.
