Sharon, North Dakota
was born in Wisconsin. His parents kom from Sogn. His father Elling Ellingson came to Adams County Wisconsin around 1850. He died in North Dakota about 20 years ago. His mother, Mina, was from Trondelagen.
His wife, Kristine Dahl, is a Norwegian-American woman. Her parents were from Hadeland. They have three sons and one daughter.
He has been in the Legislature and has been a Senator for three terms and is there now. He also has the "General Store" in Sharon, North Dakota.
