Pekin, North Dakota
is a farmer. He was born in Lesjeskogen on December 8, 1856 and emigrated to America, in 1884 to Canton, South Dakota. He came to Nelson County in 1887 and took a homestead in Osego Township and has lived there since as a farmer.
His wife, Marit Brenden, is from Lesje. They have twelve children, all grew up on the homestead farm and ten of the children are home on the farm.
