Pekin, North Dakota
is the manager of the Atlas Lumberyard. He was born in America of Norwegian parents who live on a farm near the Sheyenne River two miles from Pekin, North Dakota. His father, Knut Enstad, is from Gudbrandsdol and his mother, Anne Knutsener, was from Romsdalen. They came to America in 1881 to Nelson County, North Dakota where they took a homestead and live at this time on the farm. They have twelve children, six sons and six daughters. All of them grew up on the homestead farm.
He is married to Regine Bjorlie, daughter of Syver H. Bjorlie in Pekin, North Dakota. They have three children.
B. K. Enstad is the president of the Sons of Norway regional society "Luren", one of the störste regional societys in North Dakota.
