Hastings, North Dakota
was born in Stordoen on December 13, 1862 and emigrated to America in 1886 to Fargo, North Dakota. He moved to a farm near Hastings, North Dakota in 1892 and has lived there since as a farmer.
His wife, Lina Olsberg, is from Østerdalen. They have seven children. The oldest son Clarence is on the farm. Their daughter Julie is married to Henry Hanson who is farmer in this area. He is from Toten.
