Mayville North Dakota
is a farmer. He was born in Nelson County North Dakota in Wold Township on March 31, 1884. His father, Sivert O. Fornes, came to America about 45 years ago from Stjordalen. His mother Kjersti Fornes was from same region. They are both dead.
His wife, Ida Moen, is from Hegre. She came to America in 1902 and they were married in 1904. They have six children, three sons and three daughters. Fornes has his own farm and operates his brother-in-law Jens Rosevold’s farm next to his own.
