Binford, North Dakota
is the treasurer in the First State Bank. He is the son of Frithjof Greenland of Cooperstown, North Dakota. He was born in Lanesboro, North Dakota on July 18, 1873. He came to Griggs County, North Dakota 1881. He has lived in Binford, North Dakota since 1899 and has been the treasurer in the bank since May 1, 1908.
His wife, Bertha Lier, was born in Trempelau County, Wisconsin. Her father, Martin C. Lier, is a farmer in Moose, North Dakota. They have six children. He is the president of the Sons of Norway regional society "Gjovik" and is the treasurer of the School board.
