Hastings, North Dakota
works as a carpenter at the Newman Lumber Company and has been there since 1908. His parents, Gunder and Kari Pedersen, emigrated from Østerdalen to America in 1887. They have a farm northwest of Hastings.
His wife, Olga Torpe, was born in Wisconsin. Her parents now lives in Elbow Lake, Minnesota. They have three daughters, and a good home.
