Cooperstown, North Dakota
is a farmer. He was born in Aamodt on June 22, 1847 and emigrated to America in 1867 to Fillmore County Minnesota. He came to North Dakota in 1880 and took a homestead in Griggs County in Romnes Township where he was the PotsMaster for 15 years.
His wife, Halen Western, is from Lynner, Hadeland. They have nine children. The youngest son, August, is on the farm. Three sons are in Alberta, Canada. Their daughter Ida is home on the farm.
