Moorhead, Minnesota.
was born in Menonomie, Wisconsin in 1872 and came with his parents to Fort Abercrombie, North Dakota in 1873. He was an instructor at Concordia College for about 20 years ago and after that was the superintendent of Schools in Richland County North Dakota. He is well educated in medicine and surgery and is a specialist in nose and throat illnesses. He has studied medicine at John Hopkins and at the Harvard Medical Clinic and he has gone to London and Berlin on his student trips. Dr. Hagen is the state examiner and has a very large practice. He has taken a lot of interest in Norwegian work, in Norwegian meetings and reunions and he is a capable speaker.
His wife is the daughter of the president of the Normal School in Moorhead, Minnesota.
Dr. Hagen has won himself many friends as well among the elderly in the adult families. He won, as did attorney Dosland, silver and gold medals each year for eloquence at Concordia College.
