Sharon, North Dakota
was born in Opdal on January 11, 1864 and emigrated to America in 1883 to Steele County, North Dakota. He has been in Sharon, North Dakota since 1915 as a manager of the Sharon Mercantile Company.
His wife, Marie Tollefsen, was born in Wisconsin of Norwegian parents from Sogn.
When he lived in Finley, North Dakota he was president of the Sons of Norway regional society "Norman" from the time the regional society started until he moved to Sharon, North Dakota.
