was born in Kviteseid on February 11, 1872. He moved to America in 1907 to Sharon and has lived there since. He is the police chief in Sharon, North Dakota.
His wife is the honorable Sigrid Eilifsdatter Nissedal. They have four children, all born in Norway: Gunhild, Bertha, Ole and Emma.
