Aneta, North Dakota
was born in Kvinherred on December 12, 1865 and he emigrated to America in 1869 as a four year old boy. His parents first came to Osian, Iowa. They moved to Mower County, Minnesota in 1890 where they lived for 14 years on a farm and then they came to North Dakota to Steele County in 1884. They took a homestead in 1889 in Sharon Township and at this time are the owners of a homestead farm that has 1400 acres in Sharon Township. They also have a lot of land in Minnesota and Canada – in other words they have a lot of land.
His wife, Clara Brekke, is the daughter of Thomas Brekke. They have four children.
Kloster has been the chairman of the School board for four years and an Assessor for five years in Sharon Township. He has lived in Aneta for eleven years and he operates his farm there.
