Pekin, North Dakota
was born in Gaarden Knappen on August 20, 1881 and emigrated to America in 1903 to Binford, North Dakota. He came to Pekin in 1911 and since that time he has had the general store in partnership with Rood.
His wife, Belle Kittelsen, is a Norwegian-American from Norman County Minnesota.
