Mayville, North Dakota
is the owner of the Central House. He was born in America of Norwegian parents in Lake Mills, Iowa. His father, Lars Larsen, came from Nordfjord. He came to Mayville in 1875 and has had a farm near Mayville and has operated the Central House for the last four years.
His wife is half Norwegian and half English. They have five children. Many Norwegians live at the Central House and it is good meeting place for Norwegians.
