McVille, North Dakota
is vice president of the State Bank. He was born in Nes Hallingdal on February 25, 1858 and came over to America as a two year old boy. His father, Herbrand Larsen Braatelien, and his mother, Kristi, was from Gol. They came to America around 1860 to Wisconsin. He came to Dakota Territory in 1882. He took a homestead and at this time is the owner of the farm with 300-400 acres. He is now County commissioner in Nelson County and has interests in several undertakings in McVille.
His wife, Anna Lofthus, was born in America. Her parents was from Telemarken. They have a very fine Home.
