Sharon, North Dakota
was born on April 2, 1850 at Gaarden Lysen in Sondre Land and emigrated to America in 1868 to Lafayette County, Wisconsin. He moved to Dakota Territory in 1882and took a homestead in the town of Westfield in Steele County, North Dakota. He sold his farm six years ago and now lives in Sharon, North Dakota.
His wife, Sofie Olsen Leslie, was born in Wisconsin in Iowa, County. They have two daughters, Emma and Pauline.
