Pekin, North Dakota
is a farmer. He was born in Lesjeskogen on December 21, 1857 and emigrated to America in 1887 to Nelson County. He took a homestead in Osego Township and has lived there since as a farmer.
His wife, Kari Skjolden, is from Sogn. They have seven children. One of their sons is with the Canadian Troopers. He was wounded at the front and was dressed and brought to England, where he was the last time they heard from him.
