Nome, North Dakota
is president of the Farmers State Bank. He was born in Nes on October 13, 1854 and emigrated to America 1872 to Blooming Prairie, Minnesota. He came to North Dakota in 1880 and has been a farmer in that area. He has now lived in Nome since 1907.
His wife’s name was Anne Johansen. Her father, Ole Johansen, is from Gudbrandsdalen and her mother, Gertrud Kjos, is from Sogn. They have six children. Two of his sons have businesses in Nom, Albert Myhre has the feed-store and Melvin Myhre has the retail meat market.
