was born America of Norwegian parents in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin. Her father, Ole S. Remol, was from Kristiania and her mother, Bertha Christensen, was from Trondhjem. She graduated from Chippewa Falls High School and Stout Institute in 1912. She has been a teacher in Domestic Science with Oak Grove Seminar since 1913.
