Binford, North Dakota
is a farmer. He was born in Ringebu on January 29, 1861 and emigrated to America in 1882 to Lake Park, Minnesota and lived there for three years. He came to Griggs County, North Dakota in 1885 and took a homestead in Red Willow Township and has lived there since as a farmer. He now has a nice farm of 840 acres.
His wife, Janna Myhre, was born in America of Norwegian parents from Ringebu. Her mother is dead and her father Jakob Myhre lives with them. They have seven children and they are all home on the farm.
He is Supervisor and has been on the School board forn 14 years. He is a Judge in the Sons of Norway regional society "Gjovik in Binford, North Dakota.
