Binford, North Dakota
is a Secretary at the Buchhert Bakken Company in Binford, North Dakota. He was born in Ringebu on October 20, 1874 and emigrated to America in 1884 to Starbuck, Pope County Minnesota. He moved to Griggs County, North Dakota in 1886. His father, Peder Rorvig, and his mother, Julia Eriksen, were both from Ringebu and now live in McHenry, North Dakota. He came to Binford, North Dakota in 1906 and has lived there since as a businessman.
His wife, Sofie Smaagaard, was born in Zumbrota, Minnesota. Her parents, Erik and Ingeborg Smaagaard, live on a farm there. They have two children, Palmer and Emely.
