Pekin, North Dakota
was born in Faaberg on March 7, 1872 and emigrated to America in 1905 to Nelson County and has since been a carpenter and contractor and has built many fine Norwegian homes in that area.
His wife, Karen Kristiansen, is from Faaberg. She was born near Jorstadmoen. They have six children. Simon has the Dray Line in Pekin, North Dakota.
