Litchville, North Dakota
is the owner of the elevator. He was born in Trondhjem on June 14, 1873 and emigrated to America in 1893 to Fort Ransom, North Dakota. He moved to Litchville, North Dakota in 1906 and purchased the elevator in 1910.
His wife, Bertha Guttormsen, was born in America of Norwegian parents. They have six children.
He is the historian of the Sons of Norway regional society "Nidaros" in Litchville, North Dakota.
