Buxton, North Dakota
is a farmer. He was born in Halse Stangvik Parish district on October 20, 1855 and emigrated to America in 1870 to Friborn County Minnesota. He lived there for ten years together with his father, Lars Skrivseth, and his mother Mali Asprong, They are both dead. He moved to Traill County in 1880, and has since lived as a farmer in Wold Township. On his large farm he has built a modern, comfortable house with electric lighting and central heating. It was built in 1906.
His wife, Marianne Nieldsen, is from Aalesund. They have ten children. Two are in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The remaining are on the farm.
